July, August, and September are the perfect months for family canyoning as the lower water level and warmer weather make it an excellent choice. You don’t need to worry about being inexperienced as almost every element and obstacle in the canyon can be negotiated by taking an easier option.

Starting from a 20-minute drive from Tjentiste valley National Park Sutjeska or 1 hour from Foca municipality, your professional guides will provide a safety briefing and demonstration before descending into the canyon after about 30 minutes of walking. Spend approximately 2 to 3 hours in the canyon, admiring breathtaking waterfalls, crystal-clear natural pools, and the deep canyon surroundings. Halfway through, take a small break for rest and energy snacks. After canyoning, walk for ten minutes to reach your transportation, passing by a huge magical waterfall.

For maximum experience and time with our instructors, we operate in small groups and recommend the best canyon sections based on your ability and conditions. Before canyoning, an optional short hike near the canyon in the Sutjeska National Park can be organized for your group or family.
